Progress appointments are usually scheduled 4 - 12 weeks after an initial consultation
Treatment progress appointment with Dr. Lindell
If Dr. Lindell has prescribed medication for your pet, you will meet with her for some or all of your progress appointments. She will review medications and doses, make necessary adjustments, and add behavior modification steps. Once you are completely satisfied with your progress, Dr. Lindell will discuss a long-term maintenance plan.
Treatment progress appointment with technician
If your treatment plan includes behavior modification, you may meet with a behavior technician. She will adjust behavior modification techniques to assure steady improvement and will advise you when you have made enough progress to meet with Dr. Lindell.
Telephone or telemedicine progress appointment
Dr. Lindell will let you know whether your treatment progress appointment can be done remotely. There are some restrictions to the type of conditions that may be treated through telemedicine. In-person visits are required at least annually. Telephone and telemedicine appointments are only available for clients and patients that have met with Dr. Lindell in person for either a comprehensive behavior consultation or assessment appointment.
